My CS Autobiography

I thought this was a really cool assignment idea, and it was so fun to go back through my history as a computer engineer and CS teacher. I was so lucky to have the opportunities I did -- and the female role models who showed me that computer science could be a woman's field.

I was lucky to be there when Computer Engineering became a major at Colorado State University - making me the first female graduate. Then I was the first Engineering Education graduate since it had just changed from "Tech Ed." I am so glad I was always in the right place at the right time.
